Nate Caplin Bio
A MacWorld 2007 presenter on compression tips and techniques, Nate manages webcasting and streaming media services for American Electric Power, based in Columbus, Ohio. He is continually called upon to advise a wide range of video, web, and graphics operations on technology strategy. He's been crunching video for web delivery since 1995, when he helped Knight Ridder Tribune Information Services launch a QuickTime-based animated news graphics service. Nate also consults for clients such as Abercrombie & Fitch, writes product reviews for DV Magazine, and has taught video compression and streaming classes at MacWorld Expo.
